GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC
• Candidates having a Master’s degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent and/or relevant certification(s) will be preferred
• Minimum 05 years of experience of System / Back-up Administration and / or working as a System Engineer, preferably in bank(s)

• To create formal documentation and standardize formats for detailed work plans, procedures, and policies
• To manage existing back-up solutions and provide periodic reports for senior management
• To proactively perform checks, create automated scripts, and develop packages to enhance operational efficiency, while also conducting research and offering recommendations for continuous improvement in the experience of Virtual Tape Libraries for back-up and recovery effectiveness
• To manage all aspects of back-up infrastructure, including but not limited to, installation, monitoring, provisioning, back-up & recovery, and performance tuning
• To work effectively with various teams / customers of BAS (Back-up and Storage) services • To develop technology standards and establish performance guidelines to support daily operations of back-up and storage infrastructure
• To provide Tier-II support and troubleshooting of enterprise level back-up solution(s) (DELL EMC Data Domain, Networker & Avamar, IBM Spectrum Protect, Veeam BR, Symantec NetBackup, etc.) and Storage Management Solution
• To conduct capacity planning to ensure the availability of sufficient resources to meet IT / business requirements

Senior Systems Administrator AIX/Linux (North) (OG-I / AVP)
Unit Head – Systems Administration (AIX/Linux)
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent from a local or international university/college/institute recognized by the HEC

• Sound knowledge of AIX and Linux operating systems
Ability to design system architecture and recovery systems, security setup, performance optimization & implementation, auditing, patching, proactive monitoring, health checks & alerts/notification setup

• Candidates having a Master’s degree in IT / Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent and/or relevant certification(s) will be preferred
• Minimum 03 years of experience in the field of IT, out of which 02 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and / or system testing, preferably in bank(s)
• Sound knowledge and expertise related to Banking Application(s), automated testing tools, and techniques related to new automation tools
• Well versed in using PMIS tools, such as Jira, etc. for task tracking
Expertise in using test techniques, such as Risk Based Testing, Advanced Defect Management, and Static Testing

• Good expertise related to compliance / trade / treasury/reconciliation / remittances / Alternative Delivery Channels (ADC) / name screening applications’ operations and technical support experience in banking / financial sector
• Sound knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards
Strong analytical skills and knowledge of SMS systems Understanding of SMS generation and disbursement flow
• Sound knowledge of Electronic Statements Systems
• Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work closely within the team and other relevant teams
• Sound working knowledge of MS Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint) and basic knowledge of Database SQL Server
• To provide IT support for SMS and electronic statements operations
• To troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SMS and Electronic Statements Systems
